Ok I have written many blog posts but this one is a little different. In reality I have wanted to tell you guys that I look up to people who be themselves instead of something that they are not. I even see eye to eye to someone who has similarities with that opposite person and I understand that person very well by seeing them outside of their demons.

The person that I see eye to eye is John Belushi. I really get where he is coming from especially since he is an Aquarius like my uncle Eric and my grandma. And I can see why Chris Farley idolize Belushi because he was an Aquarius too.

I really do love Belushi’s style of comedy especially his love for music as like me he took the music seriously and didn’t see music as a joke. Like Belushi’s friend Dan Aykroyd believing in ghost, I heavily believe in the Alternate Universe theory. I believe that Belushi, Farley and Candy are alive doing whatever film roles they were going to do before they died (some film choices they hand picked but not all of them).

There is a lot that I can said about Belushi and I didn’t see him as a person who was into Cocaine. I saw him as a person that was into music, wanting to have fun outside of being an actor and wanting to be serious when it comes to acting. He was a person that cared about his friends and family instead of himself as this definitely shows when you watch him as Jake in the Blues Brothers film.

He was definitely trying his hardest not to be seen as Bluto from Animal House and as a boring guy. He really understood comedy as he got along with his co stars especially with Aykroyd, Murray and Gilda Radner. Sure he never got along with Chevy Chase and Jane Curtin but that’s ok it shows that not everyone is going to like you.

The reason why I like Belushi is not because he was a genius to others but to me he was more than that. People saw him as a rock star but I didn’t see him as a rock star and I’m happy he hated comparing himself to his idols. He was his own person, including the rebel image that I am now and I really wish I could see him work more with Aykroyd, Tim Matheson and Gilda Radner. I could even see him doing music with Ray Charles and James Brown.

But in reality I really wish we could have him play a younger brother role in a movie like how Farley did with Black Sheep. To me Belushi really was meant to be the lead in Ghostbusters, Spies Like Us and The Three Amigos. I even wish we had a sequel to Continental Divide and seeing his Noble Rot project be filmed. Not to mention seeing him play Fatty Arbuckle and Beethoven. But at least his Blues Brothers character lives on especially since we will see him again in cartoon form. In reality I am glad that Belushi was trying to be a serious actor as my cousin said he would of had the same career as Bill Murray. But Aykroyd said it straight if Belushi was alive today he would of been like a writer and director similar to Tom Hulce.

I can see why Judy Belushi and Aykroyd want fans to see Belushi in a positive way instead of a negative way, and hopefully this new showtime documentary can prove that the Wired book is completely wrong about Belushi. I gotta said if Belushi was alive today I think he would have enjoyed Chadwick Boseman’s performance as James Brown just as much as Dan Aykroyd did.

Anyway I hope you guys like this blog. It’s the first one I wrote since who knows how long. I hope you guys can understand where I am coming from especially since I am a Virgo but I do act like an Aquarius as a Virgo gets along with 4 star signs: Aquarius (Belushi/Farley), Taurus (My best friend Christina), Pisces and Cancer (Aykroyd).
