Ikuko Tsukino

Ikuko Tsukino is Kenji Tsukino's wife. She is also the mother of Usagi Tsukino,

and Shingo Tsukino in the present age.

She is completely unaware that her eldest child and daughter is Sailor Moon and she proves to be a very impassioned, if not authoritarian parent, at certain times.

Personality

She is completely unaware that her daughter is Sailor Moon and she proves to be a very impassioned, if not authoritarian parent, at certain times. In the first episode of the anime, she kicks her daughter out of the house when Usagi brings home 30%, in an attempt to make her study. Despite her occasional anger, Ikuko is a very nurturing, caring person who only wants Usagi to make it out of middle/high school, but she never realized that Usagi transforms into Sailor Moon and lives out there fighting evil (as Usagi hides her secret from her mother, father, and little brother).

In the Japanese live-action series, Ikuko was portrayed as a kind and caring mother who was more hip and younger than her manga and anime counterparts.

Appearance

Just like Usagi's father, she doesn't have the same kind of hair as Usagi or Shingo. She is often wearing the same outfit with the same apron. But she has blue curly hair that is about hip-length, and she has bangs that swift to the side that fits perfectly.

Sailor Moon (Anime)

In the first episode, she kicks her daughter out of the house when Usagi brings home a 30% on her English test, in an attempt to make her study. Despite her occasional anger, Ikuko is a very nurturing, caring person who only wants Usagi to make it out of middle/high school, but never realizes her daughter is a heroine named Sailor Moon or a Princess from her past life or a Queen in her future life.
